Child maltreatment, which includes both abuse and neglect, must be confirmed and reported if we are to keep our children safe and happy. This course is designed to educate child care givers about identification, prevention, and reporting child abuse and neglect with confidence and compassion.

Child maltreatment has a long-term devastating impact on the affected child, current and future families, communities, and society as a whole.

This 1-hour online course was created by the Child Happiness Institute of Love Development operated by Belinda Bane and Valerie Joglar in alignment with guidelines set by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
